If you would like to rate or leave a review on the App Store, we look forward to hearing your feedback. Unlike other file manager apps, we never gather any of your data.

This app offers a host of features that make file management from anywhere a breeze. The suite of options lives within an interface that is clean and intuitive. I use this app frequently to transfer files between my computer and phone, watch movies, and more, and I can say that it is well worth the price.

Even having used this app for a little over a year, I can only find two real issues with it: one, there is no way to transfer a bunch of pictures and videos to your camera roll at once; instead, you have to save each one by one. This makes sharing photos tedious and time consuming, but should be an easy fix for future updates.

And two, the integrated video player feels clunky. This means that you could press the button to rewind 1 second and end up many seconds back, or even a few seconds ahead of, where you were before. And the subtitle font is readable but gargantuan, and it cannot be changed is settings.

A dedicated video player - even the one built into the Photos app - can work around these limitations if they are too bothersome. We're glad that you are enjoying FileBrowser, and thank you for your feedback. It's possible to select several files at once in select mode by selecting a file and then double-tapping another to automatically select all files in between. I have been using this app for years. You'd be better off sticking with iTunes than trying to make this download work.

The device likely won't display properly as an iPod until the firmware has been restored, but iTunes should be able to do that. I don't know why it isn't working for you.

Bottom line is that I appear unable to receive any traditional iPod menu items because the iPod device thinks it's a USB disk. PS: Again i tried multiple times to restore via iTunes since that's what the device said to do, but again nothing happened in iTunes, and in looking at My Computer in Windows 10 the iPod device continued to appear as a USB Disk with gb of free space.

I may have asked before, but forgot your response, but do you think a restore would work if I just used somebody else's computer that happens to have iTunes installed? I'm sure you should be able to get into diagnostics mode even when the device won't start up normally. Showing up as an external drive is standard when the device is in recovery mode and wants to be restored.

Yes, try restoring on another computer, or as I said previously try dropping back to iTunes Found something interesting I want to share with you. Found a neighbor with an Apple Mac and he was able to restore my iPod immediately. However when I plugged the restored iPod into my computer to use iTunes, I received a message stating that the device needed to be formatted apparently the Mac formatted it as a kb file. So I did format in Windows 10 selecting the exfat default since it did not offer fat32 and re-connected to iTunes.

So now I have an iPod that looks like an iPod when I open it up and see the menu, but to iTunes it still just looks like a Disk! After letting the Mac restore it you should restore it again in iTunes for Windows. Don't use Windows tools to format the drive. If Windows 10 or at least your machine still won't do it properly then find someone running Windows 7 to help. Aug 17, PM in response to turingtest2 In response to turingtest2. I found a neighbor with iTunes on a Windows PC.
